As Director of Outreach for SOBA New Jersey, John Roesch brings over a decade of experience in addiction recovery, behavioral health, and community engagement. A Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), board-certified interventionist (CIP), and Substance Abuse Professional, qualified under the Department of Transportation, John has dedicated his life to helping individuals and families navigate the path to recovery with compassion, integrity, and purpose.

John’s professional background includes extensive work in business development, intervention, and family systems support. Before joining SOBA New Jersey, he served in senior outreach and strategic development roles with leading national treatment centers, where he built strong referral networks and created sustainable relationships with healthcare providers, union EAPs, clinicians, and community organizations across the nation.

A person in long-term recovery himself, John is deeply committed to meeting individuals where they are and advocating for ethical, person-centered care. His firsthand understanding of the recovery process allows him to connect authentically with clients, families, and professionals alike.

John lives in Northern New Jersey with his wife and children. When he’s not supporting families or building professional networks, he enjoys fitness, cooking, and spending quality time with his family.
