Rajveer Kaur CADC Intern

Rajveer is a dedicated counselor at SOBA’s inpatient chemical dependency treatment program, specializing in substance abuse counseling and co-occurring disorders. With a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Rutgers University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University, Rajveer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. 

Currently pursuing specialized licensure in drug and alcohol counseling and completing her licensed professional counseling certification, Rajveer is deeply committed to her professional development and staying at the forefront of evidence-based practices. Utilizing a strengths-based approach, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing Techniques, Rajveer empowers her clients to navigate their unique addiction and recovery journeys.        

Outside of work, Rajveer finds joy in traveling, reading, and prioritizing self-care, activities that contribute to her overall well-being and enhance her ability to support her clients effectively.
