Jewelya Tramontana-Stires MA, LAC

Jewelya is a New Jersey Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and CADC credentialed intern and is a clinician for SOBA’s inpatient treatment programs. She graduated from Rutgers University with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology, she also graduated from The College of New Jersey with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jewelya has experience as a case manager and primary therapist intern working with children and adolescents at the residential level of care – including family therapy. Jewelya has experience as a primary therapist in co-occurring disorders working at the intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization levels of care. She also has experience working in the outpatient setting with all ages, families, and couples. Jewelya has interests in implementing dialectical behavioral therapy techniques into work with clients as well as motivational interviewing and person focused therapy.
