About Melissa
Melissa is a Licensed Profession Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) with over a decade of experience in the substance use and behavioral health field. A seasoned executive and respected clinician, Melissa has held multiple leadership and C-Suite positions where she has demonstrated a proven track record of client outcomes, clinical effectiveness, and program development excellence.
Melissa graduated with honors from Georgian Court University, earning her Bachelor’s degree before continuing on to complete her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Kean University, where she continues to expand her expertise in clinical practice, counselor development, and leadership within the behavioral health field. In addition to her clinical and executive work, Melissa serves as an adjunct professor, sharing her knowledge and passion for counseling with the next generation of mental health professionals.
