Brett’s path in healthcare began as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse, experiences that grounded him in compassionate, hands-on patient care. He continued advancing his clinical skills and professional scope, ultimately becoming a Registered Nurse and emerging as a respected nursing leader within the substance use and psychiatric care fields.
Before transitioning into healthcare, Brett served eight years in law enforcement—experience that shaped his crisis-management skills, communication style, and ability to lead effectively under pressure. This unique background allows him to approach patient care and organizational leadership with a balanced perspective on safety, structure, and empathy.
Currently, Brett is pursuing a dual advanced degree in Professional Healthcare Administration and Business Administration (MBA), further strengthening his ability to guide healthcare organizations, lead operational improvements, and drive strategic growth.
