Denise Johnson

Director of Nursing Designee

Denise is an accomplished Registered Nurse, who has had the privilege of working side by side with caring people in the addictions industry for the past 8+ years. She graduated from Centennary University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. She worked in the telecom industry for 20 years, later returning to school where she obtained her Associate of Science in Nursing from Raritan Valley Community College. Personally, working in this field has kept her own experience with addiction front and center and has allowed Denise to share her experience, strength and hope with others; truly the best of both worlds.

Denise is a compassionate care giver from the initial assessment to collaborative treatment planning. She provides medication administration and monitoring, education and relapse prevention. Denise acknowledges that recovery is a continuous journey, often with its ups and downs. She continuously provides ongoing support and guidance to help individuals maintain sobriety.

In her leisure time Denise enjoys long walks with her dog, hiking, kayaking, camping and treasured time with her family.
