Biography
Rebecca graduated from Montclair State University with her undergraduate degree in Psychology and minoring in Criminal Justice, and received her graduate degree in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University. Additionally, she earned a certificate in addiction counseling through completion of the Rutgers Addiction Counseling Training (ACT) program through the Rutgers Graduate School of Social Work.
Rebecca has worked with diverse client populations and uses a person-centered approach when working with individuals to provide treatment to their unique set of needs. She has experience providing clinical support, group facilitation, and case management services. Rebecca utilizes and incorporates Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) styles into the group therapy sessions she facilitates to promote individuals’ insight into managing life stressors and their ability to cope with their emotions.
