Kristen transitioned into the counseling field after spending twenty-five years in the advertising and garment industries, where she held roles in account management and product development. Her dedication to supporting individuals with substance use and mental health disorders stems from personal experience and the profound impact these challenges have had on her own family. Coming from a military and law enforcement background, Kristen is especially passionate about serving veterans and first responders. She is actively involved in several organizations that provide support to these individuals and their families.
Kristen believes that therapy works best when it’s grounded in trust, safety, and genuine connection. Drawing from a humanistic and person-centered approach, she customizes her therapeutic methods to fit each client’s individual experiences and goals. Her empathetic, client-focused style supports individuals in creating meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
